The Aquafier®
Multi-Stage Carbon Filtration Drinking Water
Systems use advanced technology for effective water
treatment at the point-of-use. Hydrotech offers three
different models: the standard
system, Smartap® Push Button flow monitored
system and the Smartap® Faucet flow monitored
system. All Aquafier® models feature a patented one piece,
injection molded manifold,
carbon block filtration, quick connect fittings and color
coded tubing and are backed by a two year limited
warranty.

Use the
AquaSafe® Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems for
applications that require significant reduction of Total
Dissolved Solids (TDS) in the water. Typically the TDS
reduction is upwards of 98% or more, but is dependent on
feed water conditions such as pressure, temperature and
the makeup of the dissolved solids. The AquaSafe® systems
can be setup for either 25% or 50% recovery. The RO
membrane is preceded by a nominally rated 5 micron
Sediment Filter or a 10 micron Activated Carbon Block
filter for chlorine reduction or both.
|
 |
AquaSafe®
ultraviolet light (UV) systems provide a method of
disinfection for the water being treated. Studies
have shown UV light disinfection has the ability to
significantly reduce
microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses and protozoan
cysts. AquaSafe® UV systems
provide a dosage of 16,000 µWs/cm2
at the rated flow rate. Increased UV dosages can be
obtained by decreasing the flow rate. Systems with
sediment and carbon prefiltration can be setup to treat
water with parameters exceeding the UV feed water
conditions. Additionally, systems with a Enhanced
Performance Carbon Block (EPCB) filter increase the
AquaSafe® UV system's ability to reduce some
organisms.
|
 |
AquaSafe®
mechanical filtration systems include sediment,
activated carbon block or both components to effectively
deal
with silt, turbidity and chlorine reduction. The systems
use
the same pretreatment cartridges found in the AquaSafe® RO
and UV systems, but are set up in a stand alone
format in either one or two sump configurations.

The
4VTFC25G-FM (NSF) and 4VTFC45G-FM (NSF)
Hydrotech® Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Systems
combine mechanical filtration with reverse osmosis
technology for effective water treatment in point-of-use
applications. These two systems are equipped with the
patented Smartap® Faucet Monitor, which compares the
feed water to the product water to determine water
quality performance. The Smartap® Faucet Monitor is
activated with each draw of water from the faucet, while
also monitoring to ensure proper inlet valve operation.
NSF Certified systems have been tested and verified to
substantially reduce the following contaminants: Barium,
Cadmium, Hexavalent and Trivalent Chromium, Copper,
Fluoride, Lead, Radium 226/228, Selenium, Asbestos,
Turbidity, Chlorine and Cysts.

The
4VTFC25G-PB (NSF) and 4VTFC45G-PB (NSF) Hydrotech®
Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Systems are similar to
the Hydrotech® Premier Faucet Monitored System. These
Systems are equipped with the patented Smartap® Push
Button Monitor which compares the feed water to the
product water to determine water quality performance. The
Smartap® Push Button
Monitor is activated at the touch of a button.
